These handmade quilt are constructed from fabric scraps, and discontinued fabrics that we accumulate through our garment sewing process. Each quilt contains linen, linen cotton, and hemp organic cotton fabrics.
Adventure Quilts are made up of three layers. The "top," consists of scrap pieces that have been ironed, starched, cut to the desired size, and then "pieced" together. The "bottoms," are made from hemp organic cotton. And squished in the middle is a layer of cotton batting. Once these three pieces are placed together, then they are "quilted" together, a handmade binding sewn around the edges, and finally, they are washed and dried which serves to wrinkle them up like a vintage quilt at grandma's house!
